(Courtesy of Mr Food)

Ingredients:
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 lb. boneless steak, sliced into thin strips
1 large onion, cut into 3/4 inch angled slices
3 green bell peppers, cut into strips
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 1/2 c. mild picante sauce
1 c. water
1/3 c. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:
In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over high heat until moderately hot; saute steak and onion for about 5 minutes, stirring often.

Add peppers and mushrooms, and cook about 5 minutes more, stirring often, until vegetables are tender.

In a medium bowl, combine picante sauce, water, soy sauce, cornstarch and garlic powder; add to steak and vegetable mixture.  Cook 2-3 minutes more or until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.

Serve over rice or fried noodles.
