Tom and Jerry Mix

Ingredients:
12 eggs
3-4 lb. powdered sugar
1/4 ts. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Beat 12 egg yolks well; add 3-4 lbs. powdered sugar.  Add cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.  Beat 12 egg whites until stiff.  Add cream of tartar.  Fold egg yolks into whites.  Can be refrigerated or frozen.

To make a Tom and Jerry, fill a cup of hot water with spiced rum or brandy, warm milk, hot cocoa, or eggnog and stir in 1 heaping tablespoon of batter.
