Ingredients:
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 c. corn chex
2 c. rice chex
2 c. wheat chex
1 can (11.5 oz.) mixed nuts
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix sugar, chili powder and red pepper; set aside.
In a large microwave safe bowl, microwave butter, uncovered, on high for about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in cereal and nuts until evenly coated. Stir in sugar mixture until evenly coated.
Microwave, uncovered, on high for 5-6 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, until mixture begins to turn brown. Spread on wax paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
Note~ The large bowl may become hot in the microwave so use hot pads and handle with care.
