(Courtesy of Mr Food)

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 lbs. ground beef
1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
1/3 c. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. black pepper
2 cans (16 oz. each) red kidney beans, drained

Directions:
In a large pot, heat oil over medium-high heat; saute onion and garlic for 5 minutes, or until tender.  Add ground beef and brown 8-10 minutes, or until no pink remains; drain off excess liquid.

Add remaining ingredients; mix well.

Reduce heat to low and cover; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Serve immediately.
