Ingredients:
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix (regular size)
1/3 c. canola oil
1 large egg
FILLING:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) reduced-fat cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 large egg
1 c. miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oil and egg. Set aside 1 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into a 9x13 baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until set.
For filling, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg; beat well. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and reserved crumb mixture.
Bake 18-20 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator.
