Snickerdoodles

Ingredients:
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Cream butter and 1 1/2 c. sugar; add eggs and all of the rest of the ingredients except 2 Tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon.  Chill dough, preferably overnight.  Roll into balls the size of a small walnut.  Mix together 2 Tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon.  Roll cookie dough balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture.  Place balls on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
