Beer Cheese Soup

Beer Cheese Soup

Ingredients:
2 1/2 c. milk
1 can (12 oz.) beer, divided
2 jars (8 oz. each) process cheese spread
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed chicken broth, undiluted
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes hot sauce
3 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions:
Combine milk and 3/4 c. beer in a Dutch oven.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated.

Add cheese spread and next 3 ingredients.  Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated.

Combine cornstarch and remaining beer; add to cheese mixture.  Simmer, stirring constantly, 10 minutes or until thickened (do not boil).

Note~ For vegetarian version, use vegetable broth.
