Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas
4 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, melted
4 Tbsp. sugar, divided
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (12 oz.) loaf French bread, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 c. miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preaheat oven to 400 degrees. Coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork and add the eggs, milk, melted butter, 3 Tbsp. sugar and vanilla; mix until well-beaten. Add bread and toss to until completely coated.
Pour into prepared baking dish then sprinkle with chocolate chips and remaining 1 Tbsp. sugar. Bake 18-20 minutes, or until set and golden. Cut into squares and serve.
